Texas Hold'em Poker Rules

Objective

Make the best 5-card poker hand using any combination of:

• Your 2 private hole cards
• The 5 community cards on the table

Setup

• Standard 52-card deck
• Two forced bets:
  • Small Blind (SB)
  • Big Blind (BB)

Game Flow

1. Pre-Flop

• Each player receives 2 hole cards face down.
• Betting starts with the player to the left of the Big Blind.
• Options:
  • Fold - discard hand
  • Call - match current bet
  • Raise - increase the bet

2. Flop

• Dealer reveals 3 community cards.
• The new betting round begins with the first active player to the left of the dealer button.

3. Turn

• The dealer reveals the 4th community card.
• Another betting round occurs.

4. River

• Dealer reveals the 5th and final community card.
• Final betting round occurs.

5. Showdown

• Remaining players reveal their cards.
• Best 5-card hand wins the pot.
• Players may use:
  • Both hole cards
  • One hole card
  • No hole cards (playing the board)
